Recently two staff members on John Edwards' election staff (Edwards is running for President in '08) were forced to resign when it was revealed that they had mocked various religious loonies on their personal blogs. The gang of right-wing jackals quickly smelled blood and began baying at the moon. One of the leading right-wingers, Bill "no-spin zone" O'Reilly began to girate like a whirling dervish and questioned: Why does Edwards employ people who are "Christian-haters"? O'Reillly used his televison show on Fox News as a forum to bash the two bloggers who had dared to mock O'Reilly's loony friends. Using his typical "When did you stop beating your wife?"-type questions, O'Reilly claimed that anyone who mocks right-wing Christians must be a "Christian Hater." O'Reilly practically foamed at the mouth as he ranted and raved.
It fact, is is hard to find real "Christian Haters" in this country. Most of the people I know find Christians to be rather amusing, when they are not out-and-out hysterically funny. For example the hotel maids who found stains on a hotel sheet and decided it was a picture of the Virgin Mary, or the woman who saw Jesus' face on a toasted cheese sandwich. And then there is my brother-in-law who refuses to let his kids eat alphabet soup because the kids might accidentally spell "satan" or "hell" and then eat the letters... (can you say "de-mon-iac-ly po-ssessed" ?) It's all just too funny. How can you hate such folks? They are a laugh a minute.
No, if you want to find true out-and-out Christian Haters, you have to find people who have really suffered at the hands of Christians. You have to find people who have been hurt through the blindness and arrogance of right-wing Christians. So if you really want to find Christian Haters, I would recommend you travel to Iraq. There are many thousands of people there who are truly suffering because of the vile and disgusting actions of George W. Bush, not to mention the anti-Muslim bigotry of his right-wing Christian friends.
In the U.S. there are probably plenty of people who dismiss Christians and laugh at their foibles, but if you really want to find Christian Haters, then you should go to Iraq. George W. Bush has created many thousands of them.

You speak that which you know not of. I guess everyone has their opinion; my opinion of you is not that high since you choose to degrade the name of Jesus Christ who died for you. I think it's a sad thing that the world of non-believers expects Christians to suck up to them and behave according to what they believe a Christian should be. If that were to happen, then Christianity would be a complete shambles. But, I'm not so blind as to believe that there aren't any Christians out there who would, in fact, cater to the whims of atheists, such as yourself. It is these people who are destroying the perfect teachings of Christ by disagreeing with what He has said. Anyone who disagrees with what Jesus has said is an anti-Christ.
I'm sure you would call me a "fundie" (just learned that that word exists today), or a right wing biggot, but I don't care. I'm not here on this earth to please you, but to please the One who created me. And, n keeping with what Jesus did, I put the word out there like He did; if you accept it, great, but if you don't, then that is on your head, and I won't be the one to blame if you have to spend the rest of eternity arguing and fighting with people who will have no love for you at all. The hell of "fire and flames" you have heard of will be the fire and flames of verbal and physical abuse waged on you because you refused to accept Jesus as your Savior, and because there will be no where to escape from the wrath of Satan and his demons. Based on your picture I would be willing to bet that you are someone who likes a good horror flick; well, guess what? If you keep on refusing to accept Jesus as your Savior, you will be starring in your very own never ending horror flick, but the big difference is that you will have no stunt double to stand in for you when the scenes of extreme punishment come around. Know why? Because you rejected Him. Don't do it! Change your mind! Run to Him and not away from Him! Seek the peace that only He can give.
