It's now come out that, back in the day, Pres. Nixon hired Fred Thompson (the ex-Senator and ex-actor, now running for President) to work as his attorney on the Watergate case. Nixon expressed concerns about hiring Thompson because, apparently, Nixon thought Thompson was dumber than a sack of hammers.
Frankly, I'm not sure who I will support in the next Presidential election, but I do hope that we at least get someone in there who is intelligent.
We've already tried stupid,... and it hasn't worked out very well.
