“Ministers and Politicians often work together toward a common good — their good, not ours. They come up with one scheme after another to distract their followers, called their “base.” It doesn’t matter if it is Gay Marriage, Abortion, Pornography or Gun Control — the main purpose of these crusades is to distract Mr. John Q. Public from the fact that they are picking his pocket. Of course the ministers and priests have had centuries of experience with the process of ‘the laying on of hands and lifting out of wallets….’

“The medieval Church possessed so much wealth and power that it was only the combined efforts of the arrogant Kings and Protestant ministers that finally, after centuries of work, somewhat reduced the power of the Vatican. Today the Church is so much weakened that Catholic priests fear being dragged into the courts to answer for their sexual misconduct. This never happened during the first 19 centuries of church history. During these 'Dark Ages' no mere child would dare to accuse a priest of pedophilia.”
