Spiritual
Advice in the manner of Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Eat, Pray, Love”
“It has always been my
experience that the more I learn about something, the less it frightens me.
Some fears can vanish, like my ex-boyfriend’s tiny Rumpelstitltskin-sized man-thing,
and it could only be saved by uncovering the hidden, secret names he uses for
it. Like ‘Mister Willy’ ‘The One-eyed-snake’ ‘My Pretty Pony’s Super
Sausage’ ‘The Meat master’ and so on, etc., etc., etc.
“Of course, none of these
names could actually be tattooed on it, much less read without using a
magnifying glass.”
