Spiritual Advice in the manner of
Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Eat, Pray, Love”
“When I get lonely these
days, I think:
‘So I’m lonely. So what! Learn your way
around loneliness. Make a game of it.
Sit on its face. Kick it in the crotch.
Make it your bitch.’
“That’s how it is. Welcome
to life on earth, as we know it. But never use another person's body or
emotions as a scratching post for your own unfulfilled yearnings.
"Unless he
begs for it. Hard. Make that useless prick cry real tears. At least that’s what
my Momma says."
