There is also this wonderful adage that says you
can't push out the darkness. You can only bring in the light. If you're in a
closet, and it's a dark black closet, there's no way to push the darkness out.
The only thing you can do is try to ignite or illuminate it somehow. Or look
for a flashlight. Or matches – that would work too. And the only way to get
into a darkened & miserable man’s heart – much like a closet door – is to
break it down. An old-fashioned hand axe works pretty well for that.
