Ms. Dominique says,
“Anyway, while I was hoping for financial success,
that wasn't really the point. There was nothing else I wanted to do, or was any
good at. Of course I have an ego—or so I’ve been told by everyone I know--but
it's not a whopper or even a Whopper, Jr. when compared to the ego I have while
I’m writing. (It's much more of a problem in romantic relationships, because it
takes two hands to handle a whopper--but that's another story.)

semi-reverent relationship with my work. I love the kneeling and the swallowing
of the Host. And I think I am the luckiest person in the world in that I get to
do this for real money."
