“Many people (mainly white people) are unaware of the profound depths and beauty of Tupac Shakur’s music.  His lyrics express his deep love for others, and especially the way he values the beauty and intelligence of women.

“It is also true, though few people knew it, that Tupac had a deep and abiding love for Princess Diana.  Really. He worshipped her from afar. Mainly because he couldn’t go to England because of various legal restraints.

“It was in his musical tribute to her, called 

The Love Song of Tupac Shakur, 

that he fully expressed the depth of his love for her.

 

“This song is the story of a forbidden love. Like in Romeo & Juliet, you have the lovers 2pac Shakur, the L.A. rapper, and Princess Diana, the English royal.

”There are poignant moments and romantic verse in this song, as for example the beautiful couplet where Tupac says to the Princess,

            spread Ur grace, on my face

”Yes, I'm sure you are now wiping away a tear, as am I.”
