because the decision to accept any notion of Divinity is a mighty leap from the
Rational over to the Unbelievable. And I don't care how many scholars of every
religion will try to prove to you through the scriptures that their faith is
rational; it isn't. If faith were rational, it wouldn't be faith.
“Faith is belief in what you cannot see or prove or
touch. It’s like believing in the Tooth Fairy, or Santa Claus, or the Easter
Bunny. You must have faith. Or else you don’t get your shiny new quarter, your
Christmas presents, or your Easter candy. Jeez, are you that stupid that I have
to explain this to you? What are you, a five-year-old?”
